Job Summary
Effectively use the nursing process to deliver patient care, assess learning needs, and implement teaching strategies for diverse patients, families, and disciplines. Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources while serving as a leader on the interdisciplinary team. Adapt behavior to specific patient populations, respecting privacy and adjusting explanations of services or procedures as needed. Maintain proficiency in HCHB EMR and demonstrate strong organizational skills to evaluate outcomes and promote change. Perform other related duties as required, including compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Work a 5x 8-hour schedule Monday through Friday with local or travel assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse degree
- Valid Driver License and Auto Insurance
- Minimum 1 year experience in Home Health setting as RN
- HCHB EMR experience
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and time management skills and ability to be self-directed
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement
- RN- Registered Nurse in state of work
- Multi state Compact License
- >1 year experience required
- HCHB required
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
- >2 year experience preferred
- Local or travel accepted
