Job Summary
Assess patient learning needs and implement tailored teaching strategies for patients, families, and interdisciplinary groups. Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care while effectively communicating, delegating, and managing team resources. Adapt communication styles and procedures to diverse patient populations, ensuring respect for privacy and clear explanations. Maintain proficiency in HCHB EMR and computer applications while demonstrating strong judgment and organizational skills. Perform duties requiring lifting up to 100 pounds and manage exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous medications. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of home health experience.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse degree
- Valid Driver License and Auto Insurance
- Minimum 1 year experience in Home Health setting as RN
- HCHB EMR experience
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and time management skills and ability to be self-directed
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement
- RN- Registered Nurse in state of work or Multi state Compact License
- >1 year experience required
- HCHB required
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
- >2 year experience preferred
- Local or travel accepted
