Job Summary
Deliver intensive care patient care across three 12-hour shifts, managing the nursing process, assessing learning needs, and leading interdisciplinary team resources. Adapt communication styles to diverse patient populations while ensuring privacy and obtaining necessary permissions. Utilize data to evaluate outcomes and promote change, maintaining strong interpersonal skills and professional judgment. Perform duties involving exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous medications, requiring the ability to work under pressure with reliable transportation. Must reside more than 65 miles from the job site and hold current RN, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with ICU Experience
- Current RN License in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification - 12 month blue card from Crisis Prevention Institute
- Valid RN license in the state of work
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential
- Required minimum 2 year in ICU or CCU experience (intensive care or critical care)
- Must live >65 miles from job site
Desired Qualifications
