Contract RN - Hospice Field

Conduct hospice field nursing care, assessing patient needs, implementing teaching strategies, and managing interdisciplinary team resources. Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care while adapting communication styles to diverse patient populations and family groups. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and the employer's Compliance & Privacy Program. Effectively use HCHB EMR and computers, demonstrating strong verbal/written communication, organizational skills, and professional judgment. Perform duties involving lifting up to 100 pounds and exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous medications. Requires current RN license (LA or Compact), BLS certification, and at least one year of home health experience; 5x 8-hour shifts (Mon-Fri) with health insurance available upon start.
