Job Summary
Deliver patient care using the nursing process, assess learning needs, and implement teaching strategies for patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Manage nursing resources effectively while communicating clearly and professionally to promote optimal outcomes and enhance customer satisfaction. Adapt communication styles to specific patient populations, ensuring respect for privacy and clear explanations of procedures. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and the employer's Compliance & Privacy Program. Work in a home health setting with exposure to blood, body fluids, and hazardous medications, requiring a valid driver's license and current BLS certification. Perform duties remotely with a 5x 8h schedule (Mon-Fri), utilizing HCHB EMR and OASIS start-of-care experience as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse degree
- Valid Driver License and Auto Insurance
- Minimum 1 year experience in Home Health setting as RN
- HCHB EMR experience
- OASIS start of care experience
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and time management skills and ability to be self-directed
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement
- RN - Registered Nurse
- LA or Compact License
- >1 year experience required
- Local or travel accepted
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
- >2 year experience preferred
