Job Summary
Deliver patient care using the nursing process while assessing learning needs and implementing teaching strategies for patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Manage nursing resources effectively, communicate with the team, and adapt behavior to diverse patient populations regarding privacy and communication styles. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and the employer's Compliance & Privacy Program. Work 5x 8h shifts Monday through Friday. Requires a current RN license, minimum one year of home health experience, and proficiency in HCHB EMR and OASIS start-of-care processes. Valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse
- License of State in which intend to work or Compact License
- >1 year experience required
- Local or travel accepted
- Required - Registered nurse degree
- Valid Driver License and Auto Insurance
- Minimum 1 year experience in Home Health setting as RN
- HCHB EMR experience
- OASIS start of care experience
- Required - Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and time management skills and ability to be self-directed
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement
- Heavy Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly
- Duties performed routinely require exposure to blood, body fluid and tissue
- Occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases
- Occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste
Desired Qualifications
- >2 year experience preferred
- Preferred - Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
