Job Summary
Deliver patient care at home by assessing learning needs, implementing teaching strategies, and adapting communication styles to diverse patient populations. Manage nursing team resources as a leader on the interdisciplinary team, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws while maintaining customer satisfaction and employee morale. Perform duties involving heavy lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and manage occupational risks associated with blood, body fluids, and hazardous medications. Maintain proficiency in HCHB EMR and utilize data to evaluate and promote optimal patient outcomes. Requires a current RN license, at least one year of home health experience, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse
- License of State in which intend to work or Compact License
- >1 year experience required
- Local or travel accepted
- Required - Registered nurse degree
- Valid Driver License and Auto Insurance
- Minimum 1 year experience in Home Health setting as RN
- HCHB EMR experience
- Required - Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and time management skills and ability to be self-directed
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement
Desired Qualifications
- >2 year experience preferred
- Preferred - Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
