Contract Review Specialist

Job Summary
Review, analyze, and process a high volume of commercial contracts, including engineering, architectural, and professional services agreements. Draft, revise, and negotiate contract terms, amendments, renewals, and work orders while identifying risks and escalating complex legal issues to counsel. Coordinate reviews with internal stakeholders to ensure timely turnaround and maintain a centralized contract management system with tracking and reporting. Track obligations, expiration dates, and insurance requirements; maintain templates and negotiation playbooks. Assist in developing workflows and approval processes to improve operational efficiencies. Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 3-5 years of contract review, contract administration, contract management, or related experience
- Demonstrated experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
- Experience working with engineering, architectural, consulting, professional services, construction-related, or similar agreements
- Strong contract drafting and contract interpretation skills
- Excellent organizational, time management, and project coordination abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and document management systems
Desired Qualifications
- Experience implementing or managing a contract lifecycle management (CLM) or contract management system
- Experience supporting construction, engineering, architecture, infrastructure, or professional services organizations
- Familiarity with procurement and vendor management processes
- Paralegal certification or related business, contract management, or procurement credentials
