Contract Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care and life-support treatments across assigned units, operating on an 84-hour rotation with seven 12-hour shifts over a 14-day period. The role involves floating between units within competency, administering therapies, monitoring patient response, documenting care, maintaining respiratory equipment, and collaborating with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
- Active CRT or RRT licensure in the state of Mississippi
- Minimum three (3) years recent respiratory care experience (within last five years)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
