Job Summary
Contract-Research Technician 1 role on a contract basis in Pasadena, CA, supporting daily sample management and laboratory operations in Nonclinical & Bioanalytical Development. Responsibilities include organizing, filing, aliquoting, shipping/receiving lab samples (including cell banks), assisting research personnel, preparing buffers, stocking supplies, calibrating equipment, maintaining compliant records, documenting results (e.g., in Benchling), and使用 data-analysis tools (SoftMax Pro, GraphPad Prism, JMP, Benchling) as needed. Requires familiarity with Microsoft Office, ability to learn data-analysis software, and flexibility to work weekends; describes environment with hazardous materials and biosafety requirements and emphasizes adherence to safety rules, training participation, and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (preferred associate degree in life sciences)
- Some related work experience preferred
- Ability to learn software and data analysis packages
- Ability to follow directions accurately and work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail orientation and good documentation practices
- Strong team orientation
- Ability to work weekends as necessary
- Knowledge of biosafety techniques and laboratory safety standards
- Experience with laboratory safety and handling hazardous materials
