Job Summary
As a Contract Process Officer, you will provide services and assistance to support effective custody processing, detention stay, and the safe release of detainees. This role involves coordinating with EOIR on ATD programs, conducting removal planning, and assisting in travel document collection. Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least two years of experience working with vulnerable populations. Essential skills include multilingual communication, data management, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to adapt to changing schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in social work, social services, criminal justice, or equivalent
- At least two years of related experience working with immigrants or foreign-born individuals or individuals in custody, parole, and/or probation
- Experience working in or with individuals in a confinement setting
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work in a multicultural and multilingual environment
- Proficient in English (verbal and written)
Desired Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish preferred
- Experience providing services to vulnerable populations
- Knowledge of electronic health records, web-based training and communications
- Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize assignments effectively
