Job Summary
The Contract Process Officer is responsible for supporting custody processing, detention stays, and safe releases as directed by ICE leadership. Key duties include coordinating with EOIR personnel on ATD programs, conducting removal planning with detainees, and assisting in travel document collection and transportation planning. This role requires proficiency in English, multitasking abilities, and experience with data management. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least two years of experience working with vulnerable populations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, in social work, social services, criminal justice, or equivalent
- At least two years of related experience
- Experience working in or with individuals in a confinement setting
Desired Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish preferred
- Experience working with immigrants or foreign-born individuals or individuals in custody, parole, and/or probation
- At least two years of experience providing services to vulnerable populations
