Contract Overflow Psychotherapist

Job Summary
Conduct individual, child, family, and couples psychotherapy sessions with diverse clinical issues using a hybrid model emphasizing in-person care. Deliver telehealth services alongside face-to-face appointments while managing intake, billing, and receipt administration through the Centre's online platform. Provide ASIST training and participate in peer supervision to support ongoing clinical development. Maintain strong interpersonal communication skills and case conceptualization abilities across varied treatment approaches. Work part-time with a flexible schedule starting immediately or at a later date, compensated at $94 per session.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in counselling psychology, social work or equivalent
- Certified to practice psychotherapy with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), or an equivalent Regulatory College (not a qualifying RP)
- 5+ years' experience of direct client psychotherapy as an RP (in addition to practicums & course work)
- Experience working with a variety of clinical issues and a range of treatment approaches
- The candidate must agree to provide a police vulnerable sector check
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent case conceptualization skills
- Ability to offer either child therapy or family and/or couples counselling, in addition to individual counselling
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in offering telehealth therapy services
- ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) or equivalent
