*CONTRACT* OpenStack 17 Architect (Remote)

Job Summary
OpenStack 17 Architect needed for a fully remote, short-term contract with potential extension. You will architect, deploy, and optimize OpenStack 17 environments across compute, storage, and networking; drive cloud infrastructure design, security, and performance; implement automation and integrations with existing IT ecosystems; troubleshoot complex OpenStack issues; and provide guidance and best practices for deployments. Requires proven OpenStack Architect/Engineer experience with RHOSP, strong Linux administration, scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell), and familiarity with Ansible, Terraform, or Kubernetes. This is a remote role offering flexible hours and enterprise-scale project exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as an OpenStack Architect or Engineer, with expertise in OpenStack 17
- Strong background in cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and networking
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP)
- Proficiency in Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
- Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Kubernetes
- Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning of OpenStack environments
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with excellent communication skills
