General Laborer on 1st shift responsible for assisting with air conditioning unit accessories on an assembly line, monitoring machines and indicators, lifting up to 75 lbs, performing general physical activities, and maintaining clear communication with supervisors to ensure production objectives are met. Emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, problem solving, time management, and effective written and verbal communication.
Required Qualifications
- Assist with putting air conditioning unit accessories onto an assembly line
- Watch gauges, dials, or indicators to ensure machines are working properly
- Determine how a system should work and how changes will affect outcomes
- Identify measures of system performance and actions needed to improve performance
- Perform general physical activities such as moving or lifting heavy objects, clean rooms and work areas, load/unload or stack containers
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs. to 75 lbs
- Identifying objects, actions, and events such as sorting manufacturing materials or products
- Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships
- Maintain open, candid, and continuous communications with personnel across functions
- Communicate with Supervisors, peers, or subordinates
- Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned
- Making decisions and solving problems
- Manage one's own time and the time of others
- Motivating, developing, and directing people to work effectively
