Job Summary
Contract Manager to serve as a contracting subject matter expert within Vizient supporting Mayo Clinic’s Capital, IT, and Purchased Services teams. Responsibilities include managing the contract lifecycle, assisting with agreement negotiations, conducting final contract reviews, facilitating stakeholder communications, coordinating contract launch and implementation, developing and applying negotiation strategies for lower-complexity agreements (NDAs, evaluation agreements, amendments, addenda), collaborating with Category Managers and cross-functional stakeholders on eSourcing and contract structuring, interpreting financial data and market trends to inform sourcing decisions, ensuring compliance with contract standards and templates, maintaining relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, leading cross-functional initiatives to address escalated contract issues, communicating contract changes to internal and external stakeholders, supporting training and onboarding for contracting tools and processes, monitoring contract performance metrics, and supporting additional projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2 or more years of relevant experience in contracting, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management required.
- Relevant degree in Business, Supply Chain, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
