Job Summary
Contract Manager - Marine Training role leads the delivery of marine training contracts for defence, overseeing cost, schedule and quality targets while developing training delivery teams and maintaining strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and partners. Responsible for budgets, forecasts, and contract performance metrics, with oversight of compliance and reporting to senior management. Based onsite at HMS Collingwood in Fareham (37 hours/week, Monday–Friday). Requires security clearance (SC).
Required Qualifications
- Experience of managing contracts or projects with a strong focus on customer delivery
- Applying project management expertise within a complex operational environment
- Leading and motivating teams to improve performance and outcomes
- Using commercial awareness to manage contracts effectively
- Managing financial performance, forecasting, and understanding profit and loss
- Security Clearance (SC) is required
