Job Summary
Contract Manager - Hyperscale Data Center role overseeing mechanical systems design review, construction supervision, and commissioning for a large-scale data center project in Thailand. Responsible for reviewing designs (HVAC, chilled water, piping, ventilation), on-site supervision, evaluating contractor submittals, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements, conducting site inspections, coordinating with electrical/ELV teams, overseeing testing and commissioning, managing NCRs and corrective actions, tracking schedule and risk, participating in technical/coordination meetings, supporting snagging and handover, maintaining technical documentation, and promoting HSE on site. Key competencies include 5+ years in mechanical engineering for construction/MEP, data center cooling expertise, HVAC design and integration, QA/QC, and experience with testing/commissioning in fast-track projects, with knowledge of Thai regulations being a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within construction or MEP projects
- Proven experience in large-scale projects, preferably data centers, mission-critical facilities, or industrial developments
- Strong expertise in data center cooling systems (e.g., chillers, CRAH/CRAC, cooling towers, chilled water distribution)
- Good understanding of HVAC design, installation practices, and system integration
- Experience in site supervision, QA/QC processes, and contractor coordination
- Familiarity with testing and commissioning processes for mechanical systems
- Experience working in fast-track, high-specification projects with strict quality standards
- Knowledge of local Thai regulations and codes is an advantage
