Job Summary
Leading a mobile team of electrical and mechanical engineers across multiple client sites in Central London; owning service delivery across client contracts, ensuring high customer experience, operational excellence and commercial performance. Serve as primary point of contact for clients, drive continuous improvement, manage contract performance against KPIs and SLAs, oversee financial performance (revenue, profitability, WIP, debt), and lead recruitment and performance management of engineering teams. Build strong client relationships, manage specialist subcontractors, identify opportunities for additional works and contract growth, and promote health and safety across all activities. This role is hybrid with regular client-site visits and reports into the Head of Operations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing hard FM maintenance contracts within commercial office environments
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing mobile engineering teams
- Proven track record of building and maintaining excellent client relationships
- Experience managing contract budgets and delivering strong commercial performance
- Good understanding of KPI and SLA-driven service delivery
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and safe systems of work
- An electrical or mechanical engineering background, ideally supported by a relevant technical qualification
- Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
