Job Summary
Principal Contract Manager leads post-award contract administration for large-scale capital and infrastructure projects, including change orders, amendments, claims, renewals, and contract closeouts; monitors contractor and supplier performance against contractual obligations; identifies and mitigates commercial and contractual risks; leads resolution of complex contract issues and disputes; partners with project management, engineering, procurement, legal, and supplier teams; develops and improves contract management processes and best practices; supports contract negotiations and commercial strategy; provides guidance and mentorship to contract management staff; ensures compliance with company policies, contract requirements, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 9+ years of experience managing contracts for large engineering, construction, utility, industrial, pipeline, or heavy civil projects
- Strong experience with contract administration, change management, claims, and supplier performance management
- Experience working with cross-functional project teams and senior stakeholders
