Job Summary
Contract Manager / Commercial Lead to manage contract execution, review/draft/negotiate agreements, ensure compliance with laws and contractual obligations, mitigate risks, manage performance and disputes, provide interpretation guidance to stakeholders, develop and implement procurement/delivery strategies, maintain relationships with customers and suppliers, analyze contract data for trends/opportunities, support business development, collaborate with Defence and Security International teams, and leverage AI tools to improve contract management processes and decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Law, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in contract management
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating contracts and securing favorable terms
- Strong knowledge of contract law principles and regulatory compliance requirements
- Ability to communicate complex contractual or legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Financial acumen, including the ability to understand and interpret financial data
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written)
- Preferred: Experience supporting business development or commercial strategy initiatives
- Preferred: Experience in global or multinational environments
- Familiarity with AI tools applied to contract lifecycle management or decision-making processes
