Job Summary
Contract Manager to deliver contract and commercial management across high-value, complex programmes for Turner & Townsend. Lead contract governance, variations, extensions, change control, and dispute management; provide strategic commercial advice and clear commercial analysis to support decision-making; manage client relationships and related outputs; support procurement, transformation, supplier relationship management, and claims/dispute teams; oversee KPIs, SLAs, service credits, escalation protocols, and risk mitigation; travel nationally and internationally with a hybrid working arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Strong background in contract management within major projects and programmes (Infrastructure, Real Estate, Energy & Natural Resources, Defence)
- Understanding of commercial strategy and contract law principles
- Proven experience in negotiation, contract drafting, and contract administration and risk management
- Experience in multi-vendor contract environments and performance management frameworks
- High level of contract and commercial acumen with strong financial and analytical skills
- Experience with NEC and JCT contracting forms
- Experience with Contract Management Systems (e.g. CEMAR, Sypro, Asite)
- Understanding of Procurement Act 2023 and Public Contract Regulations 2015
- Willingness to work towards Contract Management accreditation(s)
- Ability to lead and develop commercial contract strategies and documentation
- Excellent client-relationship skills and proactive issue resolution
- Strong communication skills; adaptable and results-driven
- Experience in end-to-end contract management and supplier negotiation
- Ability to manage business development/career development activities
- Collaborative, client-focused, solutions-oriented mindset
