Job Summary
Contract Management Technician responsible for contract loading, contract validation, troubleshooting, and training. Maintains active Epic certification in Epic Contract Management for RHB390 (acute) and/or RPB390 (physician); collaborates with Ensemble Clients to address contract accuracy and reimbursement issues; uses modeling tools and Smartsheet to identify and validate payment variances; supports contract modeling specialists and other revenue cycle areas; manages updates for Medicare OP DRG rules and related reimbursement changes; proficient with Epic tools and Nova Notes; strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills; remote position with travel to client sites as required; offers certifications, tuition reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits; this role emphasizes Epic contract management, reimbursement calculations, and cross-functional collaboration in a healthcare payer environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Epic RHB390 or Epic RPB390 Contract Administration Certification
- HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative
- Minimum 2 years experience relative to payer reimbursement with minimum 2 years Epic certification in RHB390 or RPB390
- Active Epic certification in Epic Contract Management for RHB390 (acute) and/or RPB390 (physician)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of managed care organizations, contracts, and products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple priorities
- Interest in innovative processes and AI-enabled workflows
- Willingness and ability to travel to and work onsite at client locations as needed
