Job Summary
Own the product vision and roadmap for an AI-led contracting help desk, translating user needs into scalable workflows for contract intake, triage, and lifecycle management. Build and continuously improve the AI-enabled contracting framework, including agent-assisted drafting, clause recommendations, and human-in-the-loop escalation. Own the contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform and system of record, managing workflows, templates, metadata, and integrations with procurement tools. Enable sourcing coordinators to lead day-to-day negotiations through training, clear ownership, and operational support. Partner with Legal, Procurement, Engineering, and Security to define approval guardrails and pilot emerging AI capabilities while measuring cycle time and automation quality. This builder-operator role sits within OpenAI's Sourcing and Procurement organization, based in San Francisco with a hybrid schedule.
Required Qualifications
- AI-forward mindset
- experience building or deploying AI-enabled agents, automation, or decision-support workflows
- practical understanding of evaluation, human review, confidentiality, and operational safeguards
- product management skills including identifying user needs, defining a roadmap, prioritizing workflows, launching pilots, and continuously improving using data and feedback
