Contract Logistics Human Resources Manager

Job Summary
Lead all on-site HR functions including employee relations, compliance, payroll, and workforce planning support for the Contract Logistics team. Serve as a strategic partner to site leadership on organizational and people-related matters while maintaining regular floor presence to build relationships and proactively address employee concerns. Lead and document employee relations investigations, provide recommendations, and ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws. Analyze HR metrics to inform business decisions and oversee performance management and employee development initiatives using UKG/Kronos systems. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional travel to Durham, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience
- 3+ years in distribution center, manufacturing, or similar environment
- Strong employee relations and investigations experience
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility to support operational needs
- Occasional travel to Durham, NC (approx. 10%)
Desired Qualifications
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred
- Prior safety program support or management experience is a huge PLUS!
