Job Summary
Oversee daily warehouse operations, lead high-performing teams, and drive continuous improvement to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality distribution processes. Manage customer negotiations, relationship management, and new business implementations including bids, tenders, and RFPs while ensuring billing accuracy. Review forecasts, plan labor requirements, and optimize space utilization to support operational excellence. Promote a culture of safety and regulatory compliance, driving QSHE implementation and meeting Health Canada client requirements. Lead and develop direct reports while supporting succession planning and collaborating with senior management to optimize logistics solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience working in a Contract Logistics, 3PL, Distribution Centre, or Warehouse environment
- 7+ years of warehouse leadership and inventory management experience including P/L management
- Experience working in a Unionized distribution center/warehouse environment with an understanding of collective bargaining agreements
- Must have a continuous improvement mindset
