Job Summary
Design and build a functional heat-transfer test apparatus for internal product testing and material evaluation. Lead the practical construction of the mechanical structure, airflow system, thermal control, instrumentation, and data acquisition components. Coordinate with ATCO shop resources, fabricators, and maintenance personnel to assemble the system, troubleshoot build issues, and ensure stable operating logic. Commission the equipment, perform baseline runs and repeatability checks, and validate measurement accuracy through energy-balance reviews and uncertainty analysis. Deliver a complete working test unit including fabrication drawings, schematics, calibration procedures, and operator documentation.
