Job Summary
Designs, plans, costings and presentations for contract kitchen projects (10 to 200 plots) for HA/SO/PD housing types, using Winner software and EQ for quoting. Responsible for specifying relevant appliance brands and worksurfaces (laminate/Quartz); translating client needs into kitchen solutions with emphasis on price, value for money, reliability and consistency. Works to tight deadlines, collaborates with Contract Sales Director, and delivers accurate designs, plans and costings for contracts. Requires proven kitchen/interior design experience, strong design ability, and proficiency with design software; capable of managing projects under pressure and communicating effectively with clients and internal teams. In-person role based in Newton Aycliffe, UK with hospitalities of office-based setting and remote-work options not indicated.
Required Qualifications
- minimum 2 years kitchen/interior design experience
- experience with commercial clients (interior designers/architects/trade)
- proficient in the latest design software
- ability to plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines
