Review radiology requisitions and physician orders to ensure proper procedures, then instruct patients on pre-procedure requirements and positioning while utilizing immobilization devices as needed. Determine exposure factors, operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images, and process reviews for quality control while reporting equipment adjustments or repairs. Perform venous punctures for contrast media injections, monitor patients for reactions, and communicate wet stat reading results to physicians. Clean work areas to ensure supply availability and utilize safety devices like shielding and lead aprons during all procedures. Maintain professional knowledge through association membership and assist with on-the-job instruction of radiology students and technologists. Requires US citizenship or Green Card status, ARRT CT license, CT registry, and one year of CT and X-ray experience.
