CONTRACT COORDINATOR

Job Summary
Plan, direct, and supervise contracted maintenance and major construction modifications to power plant facilities, ensuring work is completed per specifications, safely, and on schedule. Recommend and implement resolutions to technical engineering problems, participate in contractor claims, and coordinate vendor selection, bid analysis, and funding requests. Review drawings and documentation to verify equipment operation, monitor contractor compliance with safety programs, and handle grievances. Direct SGS employees as needed and perform designated NERC Compliance Program roles. Requires an associates degree in construction management or four years of related experience, with physical ability to work at heights, in extreme temperatures, and with elevated noise levels. Occasional travel and extended hours outside normal business hours.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in construction management or related area
- Four (4) years of work experience in construction management or related area
- Progressively responsible experience in supervision of plant projects/modifications
- inspection testing
- Basic working knowledge of contract law
