Job Summary
Contract Benefits Associate to administer U.S. employee benefits programs, respond to employee inquiries via Workday Help, email, phone, and Teams; ensure accurate, compliant operations; support COBRA and Medicare-related forms; assist with Education Assistance Reimbursement and benefits changes; maintain case documentation and draft benefits communications across channels; collaborate with Benefits, Payroll, HR, and Corporate Communications to deliver a positive, employee-centered experience in a technology-driven Utilities & Energy environment.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Employee Services, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer-centric mindset with empathy and professionalism
- Ability to manage sensitive employee situations with discretion and confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with HR systems (e.g., Workday) or similar platforms
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to identify risks, apply judgment, and escalate issues appropriately
- Commitment to accuracy, accountability, and timely follow-through
- Comfort working in a collaborative, agile, evolving workplace
- Experience supporting U.S. employee benefits programs (preferred)
