Contract Background Investigator - Wyoming (Cheyenne & Laramie)

Contract Background Investigator (1099) conducts federal background investigations with fieldwork, including interviews and records retrieval to produce ROIs in compliance with laws, standards, and agency regulations. Eligible for TDY assignments and travel within the geographic area of responsibility. Requires strong verbal and written communications, professional demeanor in time-sensitive environments, data handling and destruction, and compliance with mandatory training, security, and credential requirements. Reports trends and updates from the field and maintains relationships with ADC employees and contractors. Compensation is hourly and based on cases completed rather than annual salary, with potential for base and Premier rates for 40-hour weeks.
