Contract Background Investigator - Hawaii (Lanai & Maui)

Contract Background Investigator conducts federal background investigations on a 1099 basis, performing fieldwork including interviews and retrieval of records to produce reports of investigations (ROIs) in compliance with laws, federal standards, and federal agency regulations. The role involves travel throughout the geographic area of responsibility with TDY opportunities outside the assigned area. Maintain compliance with mandatory training, security, and credential requirements; demonstrate strong verbal and written communications in a time-sensitive environment; manage data and documents securely, report trends and updates from the field, and develop professional relationships with ADC personnel and contractors. Compensation is hourly and tied to cases completed, not an annual salary.
