Job Summary
Contract Administrator to support a brand-new North Vancouver project; responsibilities include reviewing, interpreting, and administering contracts (subcontracts, service agreements, NDAs, procurement contracts), assisting with contract drafting and revisions, maintaining standardized templates, and ensuring contract execution throughout the lifecycle. Also responsible for tender tracking, project coordination, maintaining logs of active/pending/awarded contracts and milestones, document control with audit-ready records, coordinating insurance and bonding requirements, and supporting compliance, risk management, and resolution of contractual issues. Will prepare reports and updates for project leadership and contribute to process improvement of contract administration practices within a family-owned BC company; role is 12-month fixed-term and on-site in North Vancouver.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of contract administration experience, preferably in construction
- Familiarity with CCDC, CCA, and service agreements
- Understanding of contract terms, insurance, bonding, and compliance requirements
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder relationship skills
- Proactive problem-solver with high attention to detail
