Job Summary
Prepare contract notification lists, track contractor submittals, and manage milestone and closeout documentation for solar construction projects. Coordinate Builders Risk Insurance, bonds, land leases, and permit expirations while verifying vendor invoices, lien waivers, and payment approvals against purchase orders. Assist with finance submittals for construction loans and tax equity draws, and maintain the project compliance matrix for prevailing wage, apprenticeship, and domestic content requirements. Manage document revision control on the PX Platform and act as the primary liaison between landowners, utilities, and contractors. Requires 5+ years of experience in solar construction or IPPs.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of direct experience in a General Contractor, EPC firm, or IPP, ideally in commercial or industrial solar or battery storage construction
- Demonstrated experience achieving positive renewable energy project construction results
- Understanding of the solar industry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to be self-motivated and work in a team environment where the focus is on the goals and objectives that determine the success of the projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to exercise judgment to appropriately balance risks with business objectives
- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to constantly learn and improve
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team
- Knowledge of project management software and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of regulatory requirements related to solar energy projects
