Contract Administrator / Procurement

Job Summary
Prepare and evaluate tenders, maintain the procurement register, and draft contract documentation and scopes of work. Manage the Bill of Quantities (BOQ), track progress against budgets, and evaluate earned value performance while implementing cost controls. Administer executed subcontracts, assess variations, and draft instructions; process purchase orders, delivery dockets, invoices, and payments. Produce accurate month-end reports and dashboards, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients. This role supports the New Mandurah Hospital Project within a global infrastructure group operating across 15 countries.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, contracts administration or commercial management within the building construction sector
- Strong working knowledge of standard construction contracts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of drafting clear contractual correspondence
- Proficiency in project management and cost control software packages
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience working on large and complex building projects (Hospital equipment (FF&E and MME) experience is highly advantageous)
