Job Summary
Contract Administrator needed to perform a full range of government-contract functions, including contract administration, proposal preparation, negotiation, and customer interfacing to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and government regulations. Responsibilities include extending, negotiating, terminating contracts; monitoring funding and deliverables; maintaining official records; advising programs on contractual rights and obligations; and coordinating internal proposal approvals. Requires knowledge of FAR/DFARS, DoD contracting experience, strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work on-site in Apopka, FL with ~25% travel. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; Citizenship: U.S.; Clearance: DoD Secret clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in contract administration and management or related fields (i.e. compliance, legal, etc.) or Masters Degree plus a minimum of 1 year experience.
- Advanced skills using MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
