Job Summary
Coordinate and monitor material delivery against project schedules while collaborating with procurement and project management teams to align milestones. Expedite supplier documentation, review construction submittals, and ensure conformance to quality, performance, and code requirements. Issue change orders, direct site instructions, and resolve delay claims by participating in negotiations and documenting all onsite construction meetings. Monitor contractor payment applications, respond to RFIs, and participate in testing and commissioning activities to ensure contractual compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in contract administration, procurement, or commercial management within complex, project-driven environments
- Certified or eligible for certification as a C.E.T and a member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists
- Demonstrated experience managing full contract life cycles, from pre-award to close-out, in industries such as construction, engineering, infrastructure, or Water and Wastewater
- Familiarity with contract law, terms and conditions, and commercial agreements and risk allocation
- Valid ON driving license and access to a vehicle
- Must be available for in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
Desired Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in a field role on municipal water or wastewater infrastructure projects and experience providing contract administration and/or site inspection
- Experience in supporting large-scale, high-value projects or public/private sector contracts
- Understanding of construction project sequencing (e.g., mobilization, shop drawing reviews, construction, start-up and commissioning, project closeout, etc.)
- Able to read and interpret engineering construction drawings and specifications is an asset
