Job Summary
Senior Contract Administration Manager leads contract lifecycle management for the Substance Use Contracts Management Area at HHSC, overseeing development to closeout, establishing goals and procedures, analyzing operational and financial data to identify trends and risks, preparing executive-level reports, and providing leadership, training, and technical guidance to contract management staff. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal/external stakeholders, overseeing scope of work and contract negotiations, budget planning and monitoring, ensuring compliance with 2 CFR 200 and state contracting requirements, developing standardized protocols and reporting tools, monitoring contractor performance, and guiding staff development. Travel up to 15%. Telework may be available per agency policies.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of contract management experience.
- Two (2) years of experience leading projects or teams.
- Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM) preferred.
