Job Summary
Contract Adherence Specialist responsible for managing and maintaining fee schedule data for payer reimbursement, loading and auditing contracted fee schedules for accuracy, identifying underpayments, performing account audits, and generating reporting on recovery efforts. Requires expert knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/ICD codes, revenue-cycle processes, contract interpretation, data management, and proficiency with Windows-based software. Remote, full-time role with experience in healthcare reimbursements and payer communications; five or more years of accounts receivable or managed care experience preferred. Company supports community physician practices and operates across multiple states.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in accounts receivable, healthcare, or managed care preferred
- Detailed knowledge of billing, HCPCS, CPT and ICD codes
- Strong numeric and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, able to work autonomously, multi-task and switch focus quickly
