Job Summary
Contract Home Infusion Nurse role delivering IV therapies in patient homes and infusion suites within designated metropolitan service areas. You will administer, monitor, and discontinue IV therapies; insert/manage peripheral lines, PICCs, ports, and midlines; monitor for adverse reactions; perform venipuncture and collect samples; conduct comprehensive patient assessments and educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, line care, and symptom monitoring. You’ll coordinate visit schedules, document care and outcomes, and communicate with physicians and leadership. Requires RN license, 2+ years of RN experience, IV certification, CPR, driving/travel to patient homes, and comfort practicing independently in a contracted, visit-based role. Preferred Bachelor’s degree; additional state RN licensure and prior home infusion or critical care experience are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state(s) of practice
- Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience
- IV certification and experience with central line care and management
- CPR certification
- Valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to patient homes and healthcare facilities
- Experience with patient documentation and care coordination
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinical documentation systems
