Job Summary
Define the continuous improvement vision and culture while actively seeking, evaluating, and initiating projects to boost throughput and efficiency. Evaluate department performance metrics, train employees in CI philosophies, and improve teamwork across manufacturing units. Document projects for quarterly management presentations and align root cause analysis with manufacturing engineering. Maintain performance metrics for departments and lead meetings to drive process improvements. Requires a 4-year degree in Industrial Engineering, 5+ years of manufacturing experience, and advanced Lean knowledge. Full-time, permanent, $97k-$145k.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field
- at least 5 years of work experience in a related field in a manufacturing environment
- Advanced understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and techniques
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within teams, or independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively lead meetings
- Physical ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
- Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
