Continuous Improvement Specialist

Job Summary
Lead onsite continuous improvement efforts by developing, implementing, and sustaining initiatives that drive operational efficiency and financial performance. Coach Performance Improvement Teams and PDCA groups to execute focused projects from concept to completion. Analyze operational data, assess financial impacts, and establish key performance indicators to measure initiative success. Partner with cross-functional teams in Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Finance to diagnose issues using root cause analysis and process mapping. Mentor frontline employees and supervisors in CI methodologies to foster a culture of improvement. Manage multiple simultaneous projects while championing change adoption across the facility.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in operations, manufacturing, or process improvement
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of, or willingness to relentlessly learn, CI methodologies and tools
- Ability to understand financial impacts of operational changes
- Proven ability to drive change, influence stakeholders, and develop others
- Willingness to work directly with frontline employees to implement changes
- Experience leading CI projects with measurable results
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
