Continuous Improvement Specialist

Job Summary
Identify and document 5S+1 improvement activities focusing on elimination of the 7 Wastes. Assist with documentation and training of standardized work, process work instructions and procedures in partnership with the QMS coordinator. Support CI Manager in Kaizen events and improvement activities. Monitor adherence to standardized cleaning schedules and track progress. Participate in Gemba walks and document findings. Prioritize tasks from Gemba walks, implement corrective measures with the Continuous Improvement Coordinator, and continuously update the task list. Regularly update the plant KPI performance board. Data collection and analysis with spreadsheets, charts, graphs. Prepare reports and presentations of analyzed data in support of continuous improvement activities. Conduct regular audits – Business Maturity Assessment, Layered Process Audits, QMS Audits. Adhere to all safety procedures and PPE requirements. Other duties as assigned by the CI Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience
- Minimum of 1 years experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Computer proficiency with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel – data entry, analysis, tables, charts; PowerPoint – presentations)
- Be flexible with shift
