Job Summary
Identify, develop, and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and employee engagement in a manufacturing environment. Analyze workflows, lead or support Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping initiatives, collect and analyze data to identify trends and root causes, and facilitate cross-functional meetings to align expectations and define success criteria. Develop and implement action plans with specific deliverables and performance indicators to improve productivity, quality, customer service, and the employee experience. Communicate lean principles to production staff, monitor the implementation of solutions to ensure benefits are realized, and support goals related to compliance, efficiency, safety, customer satisfaction, and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field
- minimum of 5 years of experience in process improvement, operations, and project management in a manufacturing environment
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- proficiency with Microsoft Office
- strong attention to detail
- organized, focused and results oriented
- problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills
- excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Change Management certification
- bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field
