Continuous Improvement Manager

Job Summary
Develop, coach, and mentor continuous improvement team members and project leaders. Conduct training to support lean skills development and product knowledge. Facilitate 6S training, monitor facility status, and assess lean progress to recommend improvements. Sponsor the idea system, facilitate tracking and reporting metrics, and back up monthly project follow-up meetings. Serve as backup for Environmental Management System responsibilities. Assess lean skills development company-wide and support all value streams to implement ongoing Lean Manufacturing and daily continuous improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
- An associate's degree in a business-related curriculum or the equivalence of four years of experience in a similar capacity to manufacturing or four years of manufacturing experience
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Lean Manufacturing in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to move throughout a manufacturing environment, including production, warehouse, and office areas
- The employee may be required to travel occasionally. Travel may involve overnight stays/air travel/driving a vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- A four-year degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred
