Job Summary
Lead strategy-driven Operational Excellence initiatives at the site, coordinating with Senior Management and shopfloor to drive improvements. Responsibilities include organizing projects, constructing teams and deliverables, coaching and mentoring direct reports and cross-functional associates, influencing leadership with timely analyses and recommendations, driving impact and recovery plans, and managing other projects as assigned. Required skills include Lean/Kaizen/Six Sigma proficiency, project management and facilitation, data analysis, strong communication and presentation capabilities, and the ability to train and coach Green belts. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Sciences with 2+ years (or 5+ years in significant Quality Engineering) experience in manufacturing/industrial services/supply chain; travel to other sites as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Sciences
- Additional 2 years of experience OR at least 5 years of significant Quality Engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Lean / Kaizen / Six Sigma
- Industrial Engineering and Quality Engineering concepts
- Good understanding of P&L and financial data, ability to monetize savings
- Project Management / Facilitation capabilities
- Proficiency in Statistical & Data analysis
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to train and coach Green belt would be a plus
- Proficiency with Google tools
