Job Summary
Continuous Improvement Manager at Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. leads lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives at the Plover facility, driving safety, quality, productivity, waste reduction, and cost performance; collaborates with plant leadership and cross-functional teams; facilitates Kaizen events; develops and implements lean tools (5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, Root Cause Analysis, Value Stream Mapping, Pull Systems, SMED, TPM, Autonomous Maintenance); monitors OEE, downtime, throughput, labor utilization; supports new equipment installations and capital projects; builds change management and training; develops SOPs and visual management; travels occasionally to support training, benchmarking, or company initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Operations Management, Business, or a related field
- Equivalent combinations of education, military experience, engineering experience, manufacturing leadership, operations leadership, maintenance leadership, project management, or continuous improvement experience may be considered in place of formal education requirements
- Lean certification, Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or similar certification preferred
