Job Summary
Continuous Improvement Leader (CIL) responsible for promoting and coordinating cross-functional process improvement initiatives using lean methods, aligning projects with business strategies, facilitating CI events, training companywide in lean methodologies, and maintaining performance metrics to drive sustainable improvements. Works with leadership to prioritize initiatives, engages an across-the-organization team to identify and implement improvements, coaches employees at all levels, and ensures follow-up to achieve expected benefits while adhering to safety and policy requirements. Requires strong communication, project management, data analysis, and change-management capabilities, with regular travel as needed.”}{
Required Qualifications
- AS Degree in a technical field. Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience preferred. BS, BA, or similar degree with an emphasis in manufacturing or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Ability to engage a cross functional team towards a desired outcome.
- Strong training, presentation, and communication skills- both written and oral.
- Project management experience required and ability to work multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem analysis and problem resolution at a strategic and functional level. Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
- Technical mastery of process improvement methodologies. Certifications a plus.
- Proficient with computers; Microsoft office suite and Microsoft Visio a plus.
- Proactive coaching and change management skills with a strong drive to improve.
- While performing the duties of this job, the CIL is regularly required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
