Job Summary
Collaborate with site leadership to identify and prioritize high-impact initiatives that drive step-change improvements within the site. Assure execution of continuous improvement projects by supporting project sponsors and aligning activities with operating goals and the value stream. Provide site leadership for all continuous improvement activities, incorporating learnings from the corporation into the site's Intertape Performance System. Drive alignment with corporate strategies through close coordination with the Corporate IPS CI Pillar Team and lead high-impact initiatives using a value stream approach and voice of the customer. Engage with engineering teams to align process improvements with daily manufacturing needs and strategic objectives.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering
- 5+ years of successful continuous improvement experience in manufacturing
- demonstrated project management skills
- demonstrated analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Continuous improvement experience
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to interact with all levels of the organization
Desired Qualifications
- Master degree in related field
- Lean manufacturing Six Sigma training
- Experience in deploying 5S, Visual Communication, Value-Stream Mapping, Problem solving tools
